Random Ramblings: Pt 1

As I sit here, listening to "Abby's Road", I thought to myself: "Man, I haven't blogged in a long time". It was time to change that.

As of late, I've been kind of avoiding working on my website as I simply don't have time. I've been chatting away on WyldRyde, going to school, and pursuing my active hobby as a drummer.

As you may have heard, WyldRyde was acquired by BestTechie Holdings, Inc. I'm very glad as a friend as well as from a professional standpoint, that Jeff is now in control of WyldRyde. I now call WyldRyde my "home", in terms of IRC. I've been appointed as staff there, and am very grateful that the users trust me enough to allow me to help them.

School... What do I say about school? There's not much. I'm in my 11th grade year (junior), and so far it's going pretty well. I'm starting to look around at colleges and decide what my major will be. At this point in time, I know I want to do something in the computer field. I have yet to look into specifics, as in what degree. I'm having trouble distinguishing between different majors. For the most part, I know generally my degree will be in the IT field.

I've also been avidly pursuing my hobby as a drummer. I may have a new guitarist to jam with, which is great. He's been playing guitar for about 30 years, and is very talented. I've been sitting in for bands locally, which is great. I find the music industry great locally, as most musicians are willing to support younger musicians. I've always been one for sharing and receiving knowledge, and fortunately music allows me to do that. I've found that music is my passion, and I couldn't give it up if I tried.
